Cut the Tongue, Hide the Spirit intends to push boundaries through contemporary interpretations of historical fragmentation, theft, and displacement, while simultaneously invoking blood memory of ancient traditional cultural practices. 

Blended with explorations of socially constructed vs authentic expressions of sexuality, both ancestral roots and eroticism merge back together, despite their continued discrimination, exploitation and extraction. 

The images provoke judgement and response, as one upholds and dismantles through the process of self discovery.
